Dear Miss Schwimmer,
Your kind letter gave me such a nice welcome to New York. The weather did so! It will be great pleasure to meet you & any other members of the W.I.L.
I am afraid I am only staying in New York till Saturday as I have been asked to Baltimore for the weekend.
I will try to ring you up tomorrow (Tuesday) around 12 0’clock & we can arrange a meeting.
I have to go into [illegible word] early to the [illegible word] office to pick up my reservations etc. for my journey west next week. Then I will be back by 12 o’clock. & as I have no friends in New York City, my time is quite free.
I know that the members of my branch of the W.I.L. will be so much interested in my experiences with other branch. I have already met the members in Vienna & in Budapest.
With warm greetings
Very sincerely yours
Winifred Judson
I am afraid I wrote my name very [illegible word], it is JUDSON
